Vision for Coinbase

The vision for Coinbase is simple:

To create more economic freedom for every person and business

Today's financial system is old, with high fees and constant delays, and Coinbase is constantly working to develop and innovate new technologies to realise this vision. It is building an infrastructure to power the crypto economy, and help bring the benefits of this new technology to the world. Sending or receiving digital currency between online wallets, friends, or merchants on Coinbase is free. Coinbase is a "One Stop Shop" - which offers a wallet, an exchange, and merchant tools within one simple interface.

Coinbase is a remote-first company, meaning that for the majority of roles, their employees have the option to work remotely. As a result of this strategy, they do not maintain a corporate headquarter, but do have physical offices in major cities around the world.
